Yeah it changed to in process last month. No extra docs requested till date. Even the GCMS notes which came earlier this week showed RCMP screening was already done..so nt expectin a PCC request... :)

I also paid it yesterday and my RCMP Docs were reached there on 3rd Feb. lets see how long will it take to go into "In Process"

For me i did not hear from CIC since MR at end of September 2013 .. till then no chage in my case :(

i did not apply for it .. and i am afraid if i ordered it , it will delay my file more ..

i only sent email to CIC and i got the standard reply :(

I don't believe applying for GCMS will affect your processing anyhow. In fact in my case, my application changed to 'In Process' and I got the RPRF request yesterday after I had applied for the GCMS notes.

So just go for it. Even the online process for applying it is very simple.

As long as you order the Electronic Records and not the paper records when filling the request form, it will not have an effect on the processing time of your application.

when i will do the application, they will send it to me to the email address mentioned in PR application or any email?

I am filling the application to get GCMS notes ..

I chosed ..
-Access to Information Act (Right?)
-Type of records: Case Files(Right?)
-Type of Information: Notes in electronic file (Right?)
-File Type: "Immigration file : Permanent Residence (Right?)
-In the bottom, they ask for the file nimber and location, Location shall i writh "inside Canada"?

Can you please advise?

You can provide your application numbre EP######## or the Visa Office processing it. Either one or both are fine.
