thanks pebbles for the response.

am just a bit confused since someone posted earlier a question regarding the minimum required funds by CIC and the MPNP. Someon eshowed a link regarding that. it says there that the minimum amount is $11,115.

will appreciate your response...thanks so much..

btw, congrats for you have received a request for Medical.

Hi JaneSmith--

No problem. Anything to help out a fellow aspirant. Thanks for the congrats, too.

When I was filling out my CIC application for PRV, my sponsor who is my brother-in-law told me to indicate an amount close to what I put in the MPNP application. If you check the immigratemanitoba site, its latest info indicates what I quoted earlier. Plus, I believe if you've been sent an AOR and they said that your application package is complete then I guess you could breathe a little sigh of relief. If additional documents are required, I think that request would have to come from CEM and not from CIO in Canada anymore being that our application has already been transferred to them. But this is all my opinion only...

Let's all keep in touch. I get much inspiration from any news, good or bad.

Thanks for replying, too.! :)

I received an email from the Canadian Embassy here in Manila and they are now asking us to schedule our medical examinations. I will still wait for our forms and further instructions that will be sent to me within the next 3 days.

Thanks be to God who is good to us always! Thank you to those here who are continually providing inspiration to me.

To JaneSmith--

I think the proof of funds seen from the link is for Federal Skilled Worker and not for MPNP. Please check the Immigrate to Manitoba website, click on Assessment and then check under the heading Adaptability. It still states there: "All applicants are generally required to have at least C$10,000, plus C$2,000 in funds for their spouse and each accompanying dependant, to support yourself and your family while you are looking for a job, to ensure your successful settlement in Manitoba as well as to pay your Government of Canada immigration fees and travel expenses to Manitoba."

I hope this helps. Thanks all!

Congrats!! That is good news!!!
Im still waiting for my AOR sis ;(

Hi Pebbles,

Congrats on your application.

Please the only main problem I have right now is related to what you have just mentioned:

After your brother-in-law gave you the money, for how long did you leave it in your account before you printed your account statement and submitted your application?

It is actually my brother that wants to add to my money too, but he wants to know how long the money has to stay before I print out my statement of account.

I told him a week.

Kindly help me with this question.

Thank you.
