Hello everyone

Ok so if you’re in Edmonton please go and book your medical exam ahead of time. It’s kind of busy here. I went to Dominion medical center cost me 400$ according to hnl I pay too much.
Anyway I went for medical last week and they asked me to come early to fill up some paper work. People who already received your medical request they know that CIC sent you a document with IME number there is a bar code alswel. That’s the number they use to send your medical result online. So I went early fill up some paper work they took my passport and Alberta healthcare card. After that they asked me to sit and wait. But don’t know why I was soo nervous that day so I decide to take my girl friend with me lol.
After wait about 15 minutes a nurse (she is soo hot) came to me and asked me to come to checking area. Took a picture measured my height and weight and check my eyes. It’s a picture kind of a thing with bunch of letters. It has 8 lines tope line are with big letter and when you go down letter becomes smaller and hard to read. She asked me to read those letters. After took me to a room and asked me to wait for the doctor.

Waited about 15 min then doctor showed up. The doctor was really good she is from Russia. She asked me bunch of question like Do you have HIV, Have you ever admit to a hospital and so on.

Then she asked me to lay down on a bed kind of a thing and remove my t-shirt lol(Belive me I was super nervous). Touch my whole body with her bare hands look like looking for something. Check blood pressure, checked my eyes, ears balance ect. Then she filled up some paper work and gave me two kind of documents 1. Is for my blood and urine test 2. For my X-ray test.
I took those documents and went to lab test first. Gave the document number 1 to the receptionist, pay for the exam. They wanted to see my passport aswel and asked me to spell my last name. They took my blood and urine.

Then I went to xray place to take xray, same procedure asked my passport and spell my last name. and that’s a bout it.
Anyway I talked to clinic today and they said it will takes about two weeks to send my result to CIC and if something wrong with any of test and she wanted me to repeat the test doctor will call if you haven’t receive any call that mean everything is ok. It’s hard to believe that it takes two weeks. I actually called few other clinics here in Edmonton and they said the same things.

Hi seniors of this forum.. Please help I have a quick question. Is it possible to nominate 2 persons at a time?, I mean my husband will nominate his brother. and can I also nominate my own?. or there is a certain period before you can nominate again?. Thank you so much

Received AOR on July 17 through e-mail. Application was received by CIO on May 24.
Waiting for medicals..........

Hello Everyone!

I'm new here and quite happy to see a lot of people who are in a situation like me :)

I would also like to join this thread. I have submitted my application to CIO in May 2013. According to the courier tracking, CIO received my application on May 24. I am actually getting worried because it has been almost 2 months and still haven't received the AOR. How long does it usually take? Is there a way that we can follow it up?

Thanks so much.
