thanks for your reply .. i know that comparing with other timelines is not right .. i dont want to order the notes which may cause more delays to my application ..

I am not sure if the electronic files causes delays.

what is the status of the checks (as medical , security ...) in your notes? really i am confused when it comes to the roles and responsibilities between NS CIO and CPP-ottawa.

PPR for spouse

Hey anyone here has any idea as to how long does it take for Ottawa to arrange for your wife's PPR letter to the Visa office in your Spouse's country. I heard NDVO (New Delhi) takes an awful lot of time to stamp the visa. Has anyone had this experience. The E:mail says that if your spouse is not in Canada then they will arrange for a different visa office to take care of her visa. But I heard from someone, who was being sponsored by a PR, that it has been 5 months and still no news on the passport. Can anyone recommend an easier way or is that the only option...

Yes, Xpresspost is the best option. The size of the envelope should be mentioned in the E:mail itself. Check documents required section for that. Make sure you fold your prepaid envelope inside your Xpresspost envelope. I would say include a copy of the PPR E:mail sent to you by them and if you have any dependents who are not in Canada with you, then write covering letter stating why their Passports were'nt sent and to kindly make arrangements in a visa office in their respective country and so on. Have you already sent ?

Thanks for your response. I have all the passports and I am going to send them today in about an hour.
They have all information, but wanted to get opinion from Experts and it helped.

My application status on ecas showed "Medical received" since October 15, 2013 but status did not change to "in process" yet .. it is 4 months now since "medical received"

Hi,

I have three friends and their medicals received around oct 15to 25 and they have same problem. Just shows medical received, no "In-Process". May be the process is going slow...

what is your primary office NS-CIO or CPP-O? If it's CPP-O, it will take longer to show in process according to what i've read.. But once it does say in process the time line between PPR and that seems to be very short.
