Absolutely.. No need for any explanation letter... Even, I sent it to CIC with my home address and received it back without any issues and I am sure there are many who did the same. Just go fot it...

Finally wait came to end. Got the PPR mail at 11:30 PM yesterday.

Looks like the movement started. Wish every one should get PPR soon

Hi Guys, Finally got PPR email. It was sent yesterday around 11:30pm.

I have a situation though, currently the mailing address as per my application is that of my lawyer. They advised me to send a letter with the Passports requesting CIC to mail back the passports to my address. I'm quite skeptical that it will work. Seniors please advise.

I had applied for PR under CEC in May 2013 and received AOR in July but till now I have not recvd medical request . I am little worried as I had mentioned my Visa office as Canada and not CPC - Ottawa in my appln. Will this be a reason for delay in processing my appln. Pls advise.

I had applied for GCMS notes too 1 and half months back, no response yet...I don't know wats happng with my appln .

Please try calling CPC call centre, I know its kind of difficult to get line, but keep trying. They might have some answer. Are you able to check your status online ?

I called them once but they didn't reveal any info about where my appln is. Yeah I could check the status online..it's in Application Received. Could you pls give me the call centre number, I will try again.

I tried a couple of times to call them but couldnt get line. Call Centre telephone number: 1-888-242‑2100. If that dosent work maybe try the Case Specific Enquiry.
