My application was received on April 22, 2013

August 22,2013 RCMP check requested and was sent 2 weeks after

January 13,2014 additional info about my employer requested and documents were sent on Feb 7th, 2014 .

I haven't heard anything back yet.

ECAS still showing application received- we received your application on april 22,2013.


is it normal to request RCMP finger prints before medicals?
info about my employer sent on Feb 7th, how long before they contact me?
I am a little worried

I did medicals on 28th feb and doctor said they have uploaded results in 3 days but still I do not see any changes in ecas. Is it normal

Anybody has experience landing inside Canada? I hear somebody said it can be done in Canada place ,so,I don;t need to drive for couple hours to the board. thx.

Landing can be done at your local CIC offices.
Appointments are needed.
They will ask for your postal code and direct you where to go and the wait time.
i was quoted 2 mths for my local scarborough office in which i went hell no and went straight to the border lol

My ecas status still saying Application Received, should I order GCMS notes?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 27, 2013.

2. Medical results have been received.(updated March 10th, 2014)

you have to make an appointment via telephone infoline. then, you have to wait. weeks or months depending on the volume of clientelle.

Hi karanJ, It could take 2-4 weeks to be updated in ECAS. I would say yours is in normal time frame.

Hi Tuarus, Did you get RPRF/BIO request?

No harm in ordering GCMS. It might give you a more information on your case.

RCMP or PCC can be requested at any point, it depends on VO. Did you get a chance to email CIC and get confirmation on receipt of your documents ? Can you please share what "Additional Employer details" were requested ?
