MAY 2013 APPLICATION

Hi,

I have been following this forum regularly although didn't registered until today. I am a May 2013 applicant (App received date May 15, AOR July 3, 2013).

The status of my application changed to "In Process" on January 31, 2014. However my attorney is telling he hasn't recieved any intimation yet from cic on MR. I have also raised a GSMS on Feb 2, 2014 for this.

Really getting impatient now on why there is no MR intimation yet from cic. Did anybody heard of a similar case like this before?

Ask your attorney to check his spam/junk/important folder. Seen this happen before. If nothing, then I guess you have to wait a little more. Goodluck.

Hi, I am May 21 applicant with upfront medicals, but didn't heard any thing yet from CIC.

Already spoke with my attorney twice since Jan 31, 2014 and everytime he confirmed he haven't heard from cic yet (hope he looks into his spam emails/junk emails regularly).

I guess there is no other option currently but to wait.

if ur status is in process u should be fine.. and will get MR soon.. first time i applied. They refused my application so statis changed from received to decision made directly. But if it changes to in process .. u should be fine and this is so reassuring

Hey guys,

First i would like to congratulate everyone on their medical request. If u still havent received it, be patient, its coming.

I want to ask you guys after medical done, rprf and biodata when we can expect passport request? Also, (for may applicants) when should we expect the whole process done and pr in our hands?

Can something delay our application at this stage, do they require any additional docs at this stage?

Thanks guys and lets hope this is going to be faster than we think.

maza, what happened to your first applucation.

I sent early in 2012 under FSW when was a cap of 500 application per each NOC... i was screwed up , as it arrived just after the cap was reached.. and they kept my file without returning anthing to me .. except the money...

So i waited till i vecame eligible under CEC .. collected new papers and applied..

All of immigrants stories and sad.. life is expensive .. we are barely surviving and yet we spend too much money on collecting and authorising papers.. time is an issue too.. lost too good job offers while waiting and dreaming to have PR..

Yesterday.. i paid 700 dollars for medical exam for me my wife and the 4 kids.. then went to tim hortons to celebrate and found that there was only 15 dollars left in pocket.. so bought some donuts with coffee... also paid 980 earlier this week for RPRF..

I spent all my savings since i came here in 2011.. my car has a light on saying service engine soon.. for the last 10 months.. but i cant afford fixing anything... hopefully when i get the PR i would be able to do some part time job... not to save.. just to pay my debit.. which is causing me headaches and nightmares..

Unless they mean 4 out of last 6 years .. no matter what was ur status in those years..

Time counted towards Citizenship will only be from when you become a PR. Time spend in Canada prior to PR won't count. So sad...

I'm a newbie to this forum after having being introduced by a friend to it recently. I'm an early May 2013 applicant and following are my timelines. Unfortunately haven't heard anything from CIC yet :-( ...Really hoping things are ok. I ordered GCMS notes on Jan-8 but haven't received them yet. The catch is that I did my Medicals upfront and also paid my RPRF upfront. Even my employment letter was crystal clear about my salary, job responsibilities and hrs worked per week.

App Received: 2nd May 2013
AOR receivbed: 19th June 2013
NOC: 2173
IELTS: Upfront
Medicals: Upfront
RPRF Fee: Paid entire amount upfront
PCC: Upfront
ECAS status: App received
