Just had a query..how do the CIC folks update once they receive the medical reports ..do they send confirmation on email or just update Ecas

Only ECAS, which may take some time too. For those with upfront medicals, ECAS will be updated and results attached only when actual MR has to be sent out.

Hi, are you sure because this gives me some relief. I am may 21 applicant with up front medical. I didn't got any updates from cic but my ease shows application received with medical received since dec.

Should I be worried or still it's normal time.

Thank you.. the wait is over and the stress is less.. Booked my medical on the 5th of February. I will pay 160+ 55 for the chest xray for me and my wife. And 130 dollar for each of my kids. We are four that mran 215+215+130+130 total 690 dollar for the four of us.. and it is e medical so that would save me the cost of the 4 photos for each peraon too.. i saw someone posting it is 500 per person which is extremley expensive.. be careful with your money my friends. I will go ahead and pay RPRF too. Hopefully i would be able to Land in February. Thank you all. I love this forum and how people help each other..

Thank you brother Khalid.. it was sent to me yesterday at 850 pm.. but i never found it till 10 pm as it was i my JUNk mail.. but since you told me i kept checking Junk too 10-15 times per day.. this is just a relief.. now i can go ahead and plan for my and my life's kids
. Medical already booked on Wednesday 5th of February..

Do not be worried.. u will get ur RPRF soon amd land shortly after.. that's the bad thing about doing medicals upfront as u get to wait till RPRF is asked to know that all is fine.. but u already did that .. so do not worry and order some GCMS notes.. just in case .. hopefully all will be good for u.. i know how u feel.. i have been there too ;D goodluck

Wesless hang in there.. from what i found they take 3 weeks to process a month now .. and so they can decrese processing times.. yours will be there in 2 weeks or three maximum .. goodluck

Just one last thing... i regret filing through a lawyer.. i sent them an e mail 2 weeks ago when i saw on this forum that processing for may just started and all they did was just sending me .. no need to worry.. and i should be getting it after 2-3 months!!! How useless this answer is.. if it was not for you guys .. one would be lost and never know what is happening or what to do..

It's good you don't have to wait long for the medical exam appointment. I had to wait 12 days when I booked it, and I'm paying more... $280 for each person... I don't remember exactly if was 480 or 280; my appointment is on the 4th and I will see by then... We are paying a lot of money for preparing the documents and doing the medicals... I thing by the end of the process, it could reach 5k or something around that... But it's worth it!

Thanks maza. I'm hoping to hear maybe in next 2 to 3 weeks indeed. The uncertaintity with PR is always frustrating. But we just have to hope for the best. Makes me happy to see my fellow CEC applicants getting good news. All the best to everyone!!
