January is over and nothing yet for me.. ECAS still app received.. GCMS notes from 3-1-2014 only criminality in progress
Ordered my 3rd GCMS on the 23-Jan-2014.. do u guys think it will be of benefit to call them on Monday?
Next month i have to know whether this would work or not.. my employer is going to give a good job if i get PR and he will wait till March or he will give it to someone else.. also the school is asking me if i want to register the kids for the next year or no(private school)!! Besides my car is crab , but since i do not know if i am leaving here or staying i cant change it .. simply life is on hold!!

Honestly I don't think it will make any change to call them on Monday. Unfortunately the only thing for us to do for now is to be patient and wait... Technically the processing time is still 13 months so I don't think you can do anything about your application until 13 months have passed. I completely understand your frustration as I had to turn down a really good job because I am on a closed work permit.

Canadian visa medical assessment (excluding chest x-ay and pathology)

Canadian visa medical assessment including chest X-ray (excluding pathology)
$398.00

Canadian visa medical assessment including chest X-ray and standard pathology
$498.00

Canadian visa medical assessment including standard pathology (excluding chest x-ray)
$377.00

It's so expensive but I guess that's what you have to do

But it says on the CIC website the following;

The panel physician will do a complete medical exam and MAY refer you for chest x-rays and laboratory tests. Once your exam has been completed, the physician will send the results to CIC.

When I call to book I will ask the question just in case as i'm sure they would know the correct test.

I think you should go for $498 as it includes the X-ray and pathology test. If you look at the first page of the medical request form, it clearly says"When you schedule your appointment, please ensure that arrangements are made for your chest x-ray and laboratory tests as well." None of the other three option includes both X-ray and pathology/laboratory test along with general medical check.

When I contacted Medibank in Brisbane they asked me to book $498 option.
