Just wondering, did you send them prepaid Xpresspost envelope? I know you're visa exempt and that you are not required to send them your passport, but did the PPR email say anything about including return prepaid envelope? Anyway, your COPR may have already been sent back using only regular mail, so you should expect to your documents soon too

PPR email say nothing about including return prepaid envelope. I just emailed them everything (biodata, pp copies, etc).

I see. Then they will definitely send your COPR using regular mail. No wonder it takes longer for visa-exempt guys to receive COPR. It was delivered through snail-mail!

The union of the immigration officers (foreign service officers) is taking their legal strike.
That might be the reason which the recent process time have been getting slower than last year's.

no worries here, this affects out of Canada officers, also they are all already working to code, do you think they go home and think about us? they are already doing the minimum, chatting half the time and taking 2 hrs. coffee breaks.

So I emailed them and got an answer back straight away saying that my COPR letter was mailed on Monday April 29th so hope it arrives next week. What a long and stressful process. By the time I get it will have been a year.

Going on 10 wks since I paid my landing fee and sent copy of passport and bio data form. This is crazy. I called last Friday and got a nice lady who looked up my file and said that a PR code has been applied to my status and I should get it any day. Be patient she said.
But I think my patience has gone. Anyone else in the same boat.

Can you plz tell me the number you called.
