Hi everyone! I got my PPR today (big smiley face) it said they sent it out on dec 5, my ECaS status changed to medical have been received on dec 2

Unfortunately my application is rejected.
I am not convinced about the decision.
In fact I completed my graduation on Dec, 2010 , result published on Jan 2011. But as per convocation I received my certificate on June 2011.
I got job on 22nd Feb 2011 which ends on 29th Feb 2012 ( total 1 yr 7 days).

Unfortunately the visa officer count my job experience starting from June 2011 ( after the receiving of graduation certificate) which accumulate only 8 months.
what`s why they refuse my application. Here is the comment:

`` under the post-graduation stream, an applicant must have acquired 12 months of full-time skilled work experience after having obtained a Canadian educational credential on the completion of a program of full time study. As your degree was conferred June 17, 2011, the qualifying period commenced on that date and you had attained only 8 months of skilled work experience when you submitted your application.

Can anyone suggest is there any way for reconsideration.

sorry to hear that, I myself am not that attache dto Canada it is for my children they are doing well in school here, I would leave if not for them....

Re-applying with be your best choice right now. They don't usually reconsider cases, especially it's stated on the CEC OP Manual that they start counting your experiences after your Convocation date, rather than the date your complete your studies

Because you have 12+ months of working experiences now, you can re-apply again and the successful rate would be better this time
