not me, just got GCMS notes and nothing done on my file in the last 5 months, it seems they will do to me what they did when my file was in Damascus and send it into deep sleep, being self employed and all. Only difference now is that they gave me the self employed work permit so I sold my stuff and came here and spent my savings to start a new life, so when I leave it will be back to square one and I am close to 40 years of age.

Things don't match up here, from what i am seeing almost all of April people got MR and a lot got PPR, and a few May got MR in October and now they are getting PPR, and then last month MR slowed down and now it seems stopped. Is there a continous flow of MR sent out by CIC or do they take a couple of months of break, and if they are not sending out a good number of MRs now that means PPRS will slow in the next few months. Maybe they feel vacation coming and they decided to slow down?
All I am saying is compared with previous motnhs May applicants should be getting MR 2 or 3 members a day or more even.

one thing I noticed through the years is whenever there are new laws coming cic employees tend to slow things down and wait for the new laws and waste our time.

Maybe things do slow down, and that is to be expected with the end of the year and Christmas holidays approaching fast. We just need to remain positive and wait, it's out of our hands. I just wish good luck to everyone! I do hope some people who applied in May will get their MRs this year.
