May might be the worst time to apply.

I'm still waiting AOR since my application was received on May 22.

hey guys....i recieved my AOR on 05th September...i was so worried when will i recieve it but yayyyy...finalllyyyy...such a relief... ;D .....
My file is transferred to CPP-O (Ottawa)...hope it dosent take much time in here...

on trakitt, a 12th march applicant got his AOR today, but weird thing is another 12th March applicant got his medicals request yesterday. Both applied same day, one is 3 months ahead already.

I filed my application on August 23 2012 and received the AOR today, Sep 7, now being passed on to CCP Ottawa.

(Sorry, I didn't mean to disrupt the May 2012 applications thread flow. Just wanted to see if anyone else out there went in under self employed as well and I can't fire a personal message yet, apparently.)

Hello Friends,

I have been following this thread since day one and I must tell you I am addicted to it.

I would like to let you know that I've received my AOR. So pleased to get this news from my lawyer today

Here are the statistics:

PR Application Courier send to Buffalo office - 15th May 2012
PR Application received at Sydney, NS - 17th May 2012
Draft Cleared on - 1st June 2012
Application Number(AOR) received from CPP-O - 6th September 2012

yes self employed. seems we are the only two. I applied under Graphic designers and illustrators, what did you apply under?
Did you ask any official at the cic if they are actively processign self employed applicants?
All August applicants are receiving AOR within 20 days or less.

I know !!....they seem to have reached May 17th till date...so hopefully yours should be coming in next week. AORs from CPP-O seems to have slowed down considerably.

Even i have applied to economic class earlier in 2010 and it started processing from May 15th 2012. When i enter my CEC application number for the status , it takes me back to my old application which states as processing since MAY 15th... They should be considering the CEC application has a separate application rather than clubbing it with my old application... wonder what are these guys upto...
