Hey guys good news for me. This is what I received from my MP just now

Kunal,

Good news, your application was approved and the request for your passport was sent today. They have indicated the bring forward date on the file is November 19th. I am not sure if it will take that long, but if you haven't received the request for your passport soon please let me know. They will need to have it there before that date or it will delay the file.

hey kunal just one question how should i contact my MP i am in weyburn is it e-mail or phone and what should i say to him that i wanted to know how long is it gonna take to process my file.

can please show the e-mail inquiry that you made.

By the way i understood MP as lawyer. From your reply i am a little confused. Who is a MP and how do we contact and how can they help?

MP is member of parliament of your area www.parl.gc.ca is the place to find your MP by postal code. They cannot help speed up the application but they can get you the information faster than gcms notes. I believe they have their secret access to the cic system. I also believe that all they can do is see the information but cannot do anything to speed it up.

MP is member of parliament,,,,,,,,They have authority to call visa office and your visa officer to enquire about your file....here is the link through which you can find MP
