eager to see PPR email and want to stop abusing CIC everyday. but these stupids wont stop bugging us even after PPR. wonder why do they take 75 days for PR card while they can process driving licence in 5 days. they both look same.

GoGo May Applicants! Lets all hope for the best..CPP replied to my email to stop doing some inquiries anymore about my In Process status coz I will hear from an officer in "due Course". I hope that due course will be soon.. Keep Us posted everyone!

This was the reply i got from the cic officer while updating my new workpermit

"I would like to advise you that we received your new work permit. No additional documents required at this time, your application is in Queue awaiting for finalizing."

In the End it even said the officer number and he is the same officer who is assigned to my file according to the GCMS Notes.

Thank you for your message concerning your application for permanent residence.

Your file is in Ottawa for processing. It will be reviewed by one of our officers, with priority given to applications that were received at CIC before 28 February 2012.

Medical results:
We have requested for an extension on the validity of your medical results. This request has been approved and the validity of your results prolonged.

Case status:
Thank you for acknowledging payment of your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). The fees have been allocated to your application.
An officer will be in contact with you in due course. In the meantime, we would ask for your patience and for you not to send follow-up requests for status to our office



It sounded like there is no officer assigned to my papers,,I dont know, im kinda worried about the longer times of waiting snce they are processing FeB applicants, so its hoing to be a longer wait probbaly..I hope I am wrong and its coming soon.

That is the standard reply they will give you when you ask them about the processing time of your application. Don't worry there has to be a officer assigned to your file. Have you tried applying GCMS notes ( Takes Month to Arrive ) useless if you get passport request before that.

officer informed me that my file is in Que to be finalized, so it must be you guys whose application has been received before me.

may 1 2012 applicant has got the passport request so it has to be us now.

This all will be over in within 20 to 30 days than we all would be happy.

We are the last to be picked up. Anyone who applied in June has already received PPR.
