Got my AOR on august 27th, wohooo! Since im in Canada already I thought it would be sent to Ottawa but instead it was sent to VO Vienna. Does anyone know how quick/slow the VO in Vienna is? Thanks

While completing the form, did you mention Vienna as your Visa Office?

I am concerned because, I entered Buffalo as my VO. Although, I got my PER 3 months ago, but I do not know which VO holds my file. Buffalo is closed.

I asked Sydney, but they do not know the answer

Hi LANGSTAFF, i submitted my application mid june to sydney got my PER 6 weeks later so dont worry if u havent gotten any yet i heard it can take up to 3 month. lets keep in touch since we r in the same boat

Hi saini84, my lawyer filled out my application I guess they entered Vienna. Since u entered buffalo it will most likely be sent to Ottawa but they r getting so many applications right now that it probably will take some time till u hear from them.

Did they mention something like waiting period 4-7 months or not? I also got letter from Vienna in May with message that i need to wait 4-7 months before they continue with my application.

Maybe waiting is over, I hope Vienna has started engine

Yes it says I have to wait 5 - 8 months till I hear from them, just wondering if the next time i hear from them is when they started processing or when i get a medical request! summer is over now so i guess they wont be a lot more tourist visas and student visas, and also they only get applications with AOR so lets hope it goes quicker let me know if u hear any news, hope ur getting any correspondence soon.

How are you expecting medicals if a file isn't transferred to a Consulate yet? My status shows PER only.
Do you know by any chance how it worked last year for guys with our profile?

Looking online status as In Process with message "We received your application for permanent residence on May 30, 2012."
No progress till now.

Any one can have similar or better process time.
