R U Sure ?

CIC doesn't say anything, thus I consider this info (about AEO delays) rumors in the light of the new rules coming into effect in Jan of 2013.
Unfortunately I don't have any updates yet.

Hi Fellas

I believe it is a rumor that the applications filed within Canada under FSW2 category have been put on hold.

If many guys have not received any update even after 4 months of receiving PER, that does not mean that the application is on hold.

If yes, is there any citation on this?

BTW, I had asked for information according to Right of Information act of CIC (Oct 12) and let us see what is the status of the application and the visa office where my application is.

If there is any update, please let me know.

Thank you.

Hi Guys

I received my GCMS notes today.

It says that File status= open and Secondary office= CPP Pttawa. Also, the status reason is TFR-Eligibility and the paper file is in transit. Does this mean that TFR refers to transfer of file to Ottawa office?

Hence, my query is answered that the file is in CPP ottawa.

It also stated that RPRF is outstanding. Shall I pay RPRF now as I know that my visa office is Ottawa or I wait for them the tell me about payment? What do you think?

Thanks

Arranged Employment

Employers who would like to offer a permanent job to a foreign worker wanting to immigrate to Canada can facilitate this with an offer of arranged employment under the Federal Skilled Worker Program. CIC places priority on new Federal Skilled Worker applications with a qualifying job offer.

Processing times: Most cases are finalized within 11 months.
Employers need to:
Provide a qualifying job offer.
If recruiting from overseas, obtain an Arranged Employment Opinion.
Most foreign workers can be recruited as Temporary Foreign Workers while their application for permanent residence is being processed.
There is no requirement for the employer to first offer the position to a Canadian or a permanent resident.
