Finally, I can now open my e-cas.

Happy about it but thoughtful at the same time. They had my current home address and mailing address all mixed up! My current home address had the wrong postal code and the mailing address they have is my old address. But,
I filled out the form very clearly, leaving the space for mailing address blank because it was the same as the current address. I wonder what happened ??? ?

Anyhow, I changed both of them online now, hopefully, it gets updated in their file soon. Luckily, the mailing address they have is my aunt's and it's a one-minute walk from home...i figured that's where they sent my letter on June 22, 2011.

Anybody encountered the same thing?

Yup..... they sent my application back. :'( :'( Had an email from Ecas tracker this morning.

So who knows how long it is going to take to actually get back to me and to actually find out what is missing.

I don't know what to say at the moment.

Oh my! I am so sorry to hear this, definitely not the news I was expecting from U.
I am not sure of how long it will take for Ur package to get to you, especially considering the Canada Post delays. But the good news is that Canada Post will be legislated back to work early next week and they can have mails delivered. I hope U get this package sooner rather than later, so U can get everything sorted out and returned to CIC soon.

Desperately disappointing news. I wonder though if when you correct whatever they need you to correct and send it back, they might prioritize it as it's a resubmission rather than a totally new application? Maybe you won't have to wait the full 42 days again. Let's hope so.

Good luck and stick with it - hopefully the package won't take too long to arrive back to you.

Well I managed to hold it together long enough to call CIC-M.

They are going to put us through this grief all over one missing Not Applicable. When all the rest of the information is actually there. So it actually has nothing to do with the email question.

I don't think any thing will get prioritized because they simply go through date by date one at a time. It is the unknown of how long it will take to get to me that is bothering me most. I know I can have it and get it back to them within 2 days but how long because of this lock out will it take to get to me. I did at least get our Client ID and will put that on the outside of the envelope to see if it helps.

My heart hurts, I have not had the courage to call my husband yet.

Thank you for telling me this it is a relief to know.

I am still frustrated by this though. It was an a b c question and since I answered the appropriate two I did not think the last one would require this... :-\

i was sad to read about your papers. i know it is hard but dont dwell on it. your application was not rejected. you just have to provide one missing information. it happens all the time.

think about some people who were rejected as sponsors if it will make you feel better. just cheer up. once you get papers resubmitted and got first stage approval tell your hubby to apply for visitor permit under dual intent so he can be with you while waiting for the visa oh well just another thing to look forward too.. just be happy and enjoy the journey /)

HAHAHA... thank you for the giggle... I would feel terrible for anyone rejected... fortunately I don't know anyone yet that has had that happen ... but it made me smile. You are right...at least I am not rejected.

We would love to get a visitor visa but neither of us has the money in the bank that they require for that. Atleast if he is still there he can continue his work and save money.

Ahh the tests of this life. I suppose the best thing to do is just keep smiling. ;D

So you are still blessed

LOL...I actually bought 3 Muskateers Triple Crisp I can eat 2 with the same calories of another kind and feel like I had more... 8)

I am definitely better than this morning. But man...why can't they scan that one page and send via email...I could simply write Not Applicable and mail it back. Instead of wasting time and resources and money. I can understand if there is more than one thing wrong or something completely missing...but come on...2 words??

Yea... no more sad for me...I am just ticked now.

Ah... 3 Muskateers....chocolate makes everything better...LOL
