you and at least British Bulldog from London.....although with the b.s. BB had to put up with from CPC-M (holy acronyms!), I bet she's ready to wait patiently enough for the relatively swift London to do its stuff.

If I were him, I would give U grief till my next birthday. Would make U buy me an "Im-so-sorry-gift" at every opportunity I get! :P
So U were begging for only one day, huh? I bet Ur daughter would not be so forgiving. lol.

Its usually men that are forgetful about things like this. ::)

The funny thing is ... I bought a gift for his birthday to send to him a while back. Put it away till I could send it and promptly forgot about it too...hahaha Now it is still sitting on the sofa waiting for delivery....I know it is absolutely terrible!!! But I promised to make up for it when he gets here...haha

As for my daughter... LOL... her birthday is Halloween... so it is impossible for me to forget... but you are right.. she would KILL me... twice.. :P

Haha, how did I know that, right?

Wow, you didn't mail the gift? You should have just given it to your friends to deliver when they went to Morocco (save on postage that way). It sounds like you're a one-task-at-a-time kind of person and you got the gift in advance being organized (very commendable) and then got carried away with other stuff. Totally understandable, given what you have to deal with at the same time.

Wow, a birthday on Halloween?! Nice. That way one has a great birthday no matter what, plus one has an excuse to eat candy.

But you guys are not expecting an interview then right?? Or do they do that after PPR?

See Rabat does not issue PPR's... the next step for us is one of a couple options.

1. Call for more proof
2. Call for phone interview
3. Call or letter asking for interview and to bring more proof

Then once those are over they will either refuse or call him to come get his visa. He will simply go to the embassy the day of with his PP and they will stamp it.

Thanks theachrissy. Yeaa, it is great news.
But most of all, I feel RELIEF.

Like getting to the top of a mountain after hours/days of seemingly-endless climbing...
Like the last day of exams and I just handed in my last paper...
Like waking up from a very bad nightmare...
I can go on and on ;D

looool....haha i think i get your drift.....RELIEF is such a great feeling cant wait for that too when the climbing of the mountain, handing in the last paper and mos of all waking from a bad dream. ;D

Thanks everyone. MandyUK, sthomas, eeeeeeeelectric ...

Now that I am no more my depressed little self, I am participating again on here. ::)

Still havnt been able to speak with my husband, hopefully tonight.
I have so many questions for him about how his interview went (if he will oblige me).
I was terrified about the interview cos I am VERY meticulous about little things inc dates, events, down to the smallest details. My husband is not! He forgets his own birthdays and I was scared he would go and forget something very vital about our relationship.
But I guess he didnt; thank goodness.

When our interview date was approaching, I was gathering possible interview questions from pretty much everywhere and tried to run them by him and he wouldnt let me. He was like: "I've got this, relax."
At some point I got so frustrated I told him straight up: "U better not screw up the interview, or else..". I was sooooo mad that he was all relaxed and I was a nervous-wreck. But then I forgot he had always been that way. Lol. I guess I can laugh about it now.

Anyway, I will be commenting more often now. My apologies if I seem to be hijacking the thread. ;D ;D ;D

lol...yes u sure can laugh about it now but i bet it was stressful then. :)

Lol, no after PPR the only thing they need from you is to show up at the port of entry and land.....but that's of course in the principal applicant's court. After you land, they wash their hands of you which is why you can see how difficult it is when it turns out the PR holder leaves the sponsor and the sponsor is "stuck." You definetely don't get interviewed after the passport is requested with Buffalo, as they're ready to issue your visa by mail or in person if someone chooses to show up in Buffalo to get the visa and land at the same time. There is a bit of an "interview" at landing, but at that point they are not verifying your relationship is genuine.

I don't know if I should expect an interview. It's quite rare with Buffalo, even rarer with applicants who are U.S. citizens, so I'm thinking no. We are definitely not one of the "been together for decades and have a bunch of kids" couples though.

Yeah, I realize Rabat is a bit more complicated ( :(). Technically every VO requests passport, it's just, like you said, done in a different way usually with Rabat. Good luck.

Oh! It was beyond stressful! I was soo frustrated, I think I got depressed and then we were no longer communicating well. When Dair posted about the strain between herself and hubby, I was thinking: "Gosh! If only U knew!".
And its a good thing he was far away too, cos I probably would have gotten myself arrested for assault or "spousal brutality" (if there was any such thing! lol)

It was hard on me. I have to learn to relax or I will age much faster than my husband with his "relax, relaxxxxx" attitude. ::)

Anytime now, I hope. Do U know what the expected timelines are for Ur visa office? Do U think U might get an interview request?
I hope not cos I think this stupid interview thing just turns up the stress/pressure like 2ce! :-\

LOL, we have holes in our walls and doors from hitting them with objects (ok, I know what y'all are thinking but we are cool now, I swear!). We even broke this nice Cambodian keychain that was on our neighbor's set of keys that we were holding on to while he was in France and we had to give it back to him like that (cuz, ya know, where are we going to find a replica for a Cambodian keychain?). :-[

Does everyone have to do this landing "interview" thing? Like what is the point, anyways?
