scenario for prejuneres is fortunately undergoing a much awaited change.ecas of those who had submitted full documents IN SEPT 2010 has started moving to "IN PROCESS" STAGE. my ecas has started showing this change on 17/02/12 with detail in the box,however,remaining as such.

trust u too will find this change in ur ecas soon.

i sent my initial application in april 2010 to sydney,
received first file number in may 2010,
sent all documents to delhi in October2010,
received next file number in december 2010,

One of my friend was thinking to apply under IT Project Manager in June 2010 under 0213 category. He prepared all the documnets but just at the same time rules got changed and IT was out of the 29 Occupations list. He was very sad and upset. However, he just thought to try under new 1122 category as "Project Manager" with emphasis on project managment experience in Sep 2010.

His application was accepted, his credit card got chaged in Dec 2010, he received his PER from CIO in Mar 2011. He received additional doc request in Nov 2011 and yesterday he received his medical request....total time till now is 1 Year and 5 months....By the way his office is London. He is very happy now that he applied under new rules and is now safe from huge backlog and wait period like all of us....


We are still waiting are in the same wait wait situation and even dont know for how long....

- On Medical Forms, it is mentioned that Medical will be valid for 1 year and the visa (whenever get issued) will be according to this time line.
- On cover letter, it is mentioned that if you have submitted your police certificates with your documents to VO for all the countries where u lived for more than 6 months since ur 18th birthday then now submit new police certificates only for the country from where u submitted ur application. Under this statement they specifically mentioned the country name as well from where my friend sent his application.

Long Live London VO......

Timeline for processing for London VO is again back to 27 months which was prviously 23 months.... it looks CIC & VOs are not interested any more in pre-june applicants and they are just playing ping pong....initially it was 16 months, then 22 months, then 28 months, then 23 months and now again 27 months......

For me now its almost 16 months of complete silence and 11 more months still required...and who knows they will change it to more n more...like Pre-2008 applicants, it was initially 36 months, then 48 months and now 60 months...May God help us...
