Max Processing days for study permit

I'm filing this forum regarding my query on study permit decision.

I applied for my study permit on 29th November 2021 and did my biometric on 6th December 2021
I had applied for the January intake and my classes will start on Jan 10th. Should I wait for the study permit application status or should defer my course to the next intake.

Your decision. You waited late to apply for January intake.

I had to get my loan sanctioned, and I received my offer letter by October 14th.

Is there any chance to get the study permit through sds as its shown in the IRCC website that it takes 20 calendar days
As I've did applied through SDS, but not sure if the processing time is delayed right now.

You applied on November 29 so don’t expect a decision until February or March.

U can take clasess online if u visa us not final. Uni have date to deffer . So u can differ if u donot get visa intime

But my chosen college is humber college institute of advanced learning and technology only provides inperson classes from January, so I'll have to go forward with defer
