Hello All,

I have a PR for canada and I plan to do my masters at UBC. Will the 2 years I do my masters count in the 3 years that I have to stay in canada after PR to get my citizenship?

Is there any links that you could share that states the same. Forgive me for asking, but something definitive from the cic website would sure be nice

If you are a PR and you accumulated 1095 physical presence days in Canada, you are eligible to apply for citizenship. Doesn't matter if your are studying, working or haven't reached puberty regardless.

if I get my admit for a canada university and dont get my PR till then, do I come to canada on a student visa? Will that affect my PR process?

This is a citizenship thread. Direct your questions to an appropriate forum and its respective thread. Make a search on it and if you dont find the question that satisfies your queries, make a new thread in the respective forum and ask your question. Somebody with an expert mind will tinker and answer your queries.

You mentioned you already have PR. Is that not the case? Or do you mean you applied for PR? If you've applied for PR, you don't have it until you have a immigrant visa and have landed in Canada.
