Just send one or two an email or call and ask if they could kindly do you a reference. I didn't know any of my lecturers but I emailed 3 and they all agreed to do me one. They just requested to see my personal statement in order to use it as a guide and they also asked me to send them what I would like to be put in the reference. Not all lecturers are that nice but you never know untill you try.
