As far I know, not a single case of rejection in case of Masters/PhD on this forum.

I may be wrong but this is what i observed for Jan 2012 VSIa session.

It depends on your case and background. Although they might have better chances to get a visa but not 100% because more than 20 factors decide your eligibility of Visa

the probability of happening of an event is never zero.. so we cant say that you will definitely get visa.

but yes..you stand a strong chance , given the fact that you have got admission in a university for masters or phd course..which is a big deal in itself,specifically for phd.. only the most deserving get admission for phd.. the visa officer knows that too..and the chances of success are quite high.

I have been rejected in Sep 2011 for M.Sc. Computer Science Research based program. University granted me Scholarship and GTA both. Still they rejected me. And reason they gave was "Purpose of Visit". Strange but True.

Thankyou dear. It was University of Windsor. Even experts in my reach couldnt find a single thing for which VO might have rejected my case. I asked VO to review my file and they again gave me same reason. Purpose of Visit. Its foolproof like if one is applying for Student Visa, his only purpose is to study. Thats Why I dun believe canadian VOs now.
