Hello there,
I am an electrical engineering student in my final year from Bangladesh and I wish to apply for my masters program in Canada. I found MUN one of the most affordable of places and their M.Eng program caught my eye. However, I had some confusions.

1. The university website states that "MEng – The MEng program involves courses and a thesis, and can be completed in two years of full-time study."
Now I wanted details on what they meant. Do I need to look for a supervisor first to consider me prior to admission? Do I actually study courses there or just work alongside a faculty member? IS there anyone here enrolled/graduated from the program who could shed some light?

2. I currently have a CGPA of 2.80 which according to my university grading policy is equivalent to 82% marks. I had previously given my GCE O Levels 70% and A Levels 70%. I have an IELTS overall band score of 8.0 which is valid for 20 more months. Are my qualifications good enough?

3. I will be funding my tuition completely but I wish to work part time within the limits. How is the part time job market there?

Thanks in advance for helping me out! :)

4. Being a graduate student will it be difficult for me to find time to work a little during the weekends?
