I have done bachelors in biotechnology with cgpa of 8.52 and my overall ielts score is 7.5 with 6,6.5,8.5,8.5 in S,W,R,L.
I have a conditional offer letter from carleton university in Meng environmental engineering but i may apply for post graduate diploma in red river college in pharmaceutical due to economic and PR reasons aa it is in manitoba. But after pg diploma i will get work permit of 1 year and with masters i will get permit of 3 years and cost of masters is very high.
So i need advice that which path i should follow and can i get admission in rrc with these scores?
I also have one option of seneeca college.

Firstly you will definitely get admission both in masters as well as pg diploma. carleton is in ontario and rrc is in manitoba. yes masters will be more costly and gives you 3 year wp but if you complete 16 months or 18 months like pg dip education then you will get 3 year work permit also. this you can do by taking another short course or co-op. moreover half of the world goes to ontario so there are lot of points to ponder. choice is yours..

Taking another pg course after completing first wil cost equal to the cost of masters as 2 pg diploma = masters.
So i am confused and searching for a suitable advice.

it depends on the duration of the course. masters fees is itself more than pg..you can take short term course

correct me if i am wrong... ontario has the pnp option of applying through the international graduate stream, and this can happen within 2 years without a job offer. now, what does manitoba offer?

Manitoba

Starting 1st April 2013, MPNP has brought changes to the entire process.
Now, proof of strong connection to Manitoba is MUST, to qualify under this new points based scheme. One can show strong connection in 3 ways - 1. By studying in a Manitoba based institution, 2. Previous work experience in Manitoba (atleast 6 months) or 3. Have a close or distant relative or a friend who is PR/citizen residing permanently in Manitoba willing to nominate you. Students of Manitoba means to be a student studying a minimum 1 year course in a recognized Manitoba based institution. All Manitoba based students MUST apply under this new points criteria, where one MUST score minimum 60 points.
No work ex or finding a job required for Manitoba students. Perhaps the easiest route, if one already has 60 points. In-case, if Manitoba based student is falling short of 60 points, then must find any job, do it for minimum 6 months, and get 12 points for Manitoba work ex under Adaptability. Outside province students must work for minimum 1 YEAR in ANY job in Manitoba, and hence establish strong connection to Manitoba thereby securing 12 points under adaptability and pass the points test with minimum 60 points.
