I am getting married to a jamaican while he is up on his working visa for one of the farm programs in canada. I would like to know a few things:
1) is it best to/or can you file while his contract is still in process?
2) how do you apply for a new working visa in order for him to stay in canada while paperwork is in process- we want him to be here legally while the process is happening as it will be better for our family.
3)what is the process to file while still in canada..
here is a quick synopsis of our history- we have known eachother for 2 years, he comes 8 months out of 12 on the farm program, we are getting married this year while he is here, i was off on maternity leave last year(therefore no legitamate income to file as a spouse)
we are just wanting to know past experiences and the best way to go about doing all of this- obviously very new at it!!
