Me and my wife are both PR card holders as we had applied for PR separately and we received our COPR before our marriage after which we got married and landed in Canada on our individual PR cards.
We didn't had our Marriage certificate with us so were not able to declare our status as married in Canada.
Now that we have received our marriage certificate from India we want to declare our married status with CIC so we do not encounter any issues in future when renewing our PR card.
My Question is
1) How can we declare our married status to CIC to avoid any issues in future.
2) Will there be any concerns as in our marriage certificate the Marriage date is before our landing.
