Hey all!
I have some questions here regarding marriage in Canada and in Korea. Any help from people who have done this would be much appreciated!
My fiancee (Korean) and I (Canadian), both currently residing in Korea, will get married in Canada one week prior to our marriage in Korea.
1. Canada
- I have read in Canada to apply for marriage only takes 30 mins and it lasts 90 days. True?
- How long does it take to get our marriage certificate in Canada?
- Can my fiance travel with me to Canada to get married under a tourist visa?
- Is it more cost effective to transfer our Canadian marriage certificate over to Korea, rather than having a marriage certificate from both countries? Is it legal to have a marriage certificate from both countries?
Any other general information that I have not considered would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much for any help you provide!
