MARRIAGE AND ADDING SPOUSE AFTER COPR ISSUED BUT YET TO TRAVEL

Hi, I have got a new update on my CIC portal today
Till yesterday, it was showing medicals for spouse to be passed. It said "14th may, you passed the medical exam". Now all of a sudden it says

• "We did not receive the results of your required medical exam. Check your medical exam request message below for details."
  
  I have received no new medical request or message. i am pretty confused. Is it that they haven't received the medicals of my spouse. Or is it that they are asking me to get new medicals done since mine are expiring on 25th May 2025. Either way, this is confusing. Please help or suggest next steps. Shall i raise a webform explaining that my spouse has done his medicals or shall i wait a couple of more days

Hi, i just got an update on my profile saying
"Final decision-June 11, 2025 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

This is a bit confusing. Why have they updated the date in the final decision column if the decision has not been made. I also got a message with pre arrival services in it.

Wanted to know, what does this mean about my application? Is it approved, is my copr confirmed? How long after getting pre arrival service message should I expect a message about my copr

This is a bit confusing. Why have they updated the date in the final decision column if the decision has not been made. I also got a message with pre arrival services in it.

Pre-arrival email has nothing to do with approval, it is a broken flow. FD date is likely approval of your application, you might have to wait anytime between 2 weeks to months for PPR/RFV and then you'll get your CoPR.

I got Pre arrival services update and FD update on June 11th and then got passport submission request on 12th June. So in a way, the application is approved. I have submitted my passport at the NDVO and will receive my decision envelope hopefully in 2 weeks time

So oncr you updated about the marriage did they request spouse medical and pcc and other documents to upload on your profile?

If you are the principal applicant of a permanent residence application already in process, you could add your spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children to your application, even if they were listed as a non-accompanying dependent in the initial application.

To do so, we invite you to send your add-on request by using the IRCC web form available on our website. You can attach the following forms and documents in the field reserved to that effect:

• A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)* with supporting documents,
• (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
• (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (

I got an email just like above along with a request to submit Spouse's medicals and PCC, all in one email. They gave me a months time to submit these docs which I did.

Oh I see. Last question, how did you pay the additional family member fee? Did they provide any link ?

For me they just sent generic email with list of document n they didn’t mention medical in that or any timeline to submit.
