Marital status changed - Adding spouse to the existing PR application

Hi,

I applied for PR in July 2012. I got married in Nov 2012. In order to add spouse to the existing application, could anyone please let me know the procedure of how to do it? Thanks for your help!

You need to fill out your form again with your changed marital status. You need to collect documents(such as Birth Certificate, PCC, Educational Certificate, Job Experience etc) for your spouse.

EEK. First things first - you have to contact your VO and INFORM them that your marital status has changed, and ask for instructions on adding your spouse to your application.

I'll check with VO first and get the details.
My another concern is that my husband is now in India and right now I'm in a process of getting him here as TRV/open work permit.
So, If I update his information now in the PR appln, Do I need to update it again once he is back here in Canada?
Please advise.
