Biometrics updated and medicals passed (on May 22nd reflected on GCKEY) but no indications of background processing. The tracker is still down and I have received the Sponsor approval letter as well.

We got married in March in an arranged marriage. the pr application portal is asking for instant messages on apps like whatsapp. Some of our conversations are in our native tongue on whatsapp. How do you submit whatsapp chats in native tongue like do you need to translate it yourself? Has anyone submitted whatsapp chats and been in a similar situation? Thank you! what other documents did you submit to prove the relationship.

The safest approach is to go to the directories of provincial translation associations such as ATIA, ATIO and STIBC, and search for certified translators for the combination of languages you need, such as Arabic>English or Spanish>English. You can contact one or several translators for quote and turnaround time.

They can help translate the WhatsApp messages.

That's a good sign, even I received it in May but no update since then, I even raised a webform but I didn't get any Email acknowledging it and no Pre Arrivals letter so far.

hi All, I am a July 2026 Spousal sponsorship applicant and I just realised (almost after 1 month into submission) that I did not fill the names in IMM 5406 form in my native language. Does that impact AOR? Anyone who received an AOR without submitting your details in native language, please guide! Thanks!
