Agent. They told me they will mail it to RCMP and RCMP will mail the results to IRCC. Nothing to to do from my side. I havent received anything from anyone since. Just a ghost update a day after I visited the agent.
my wife went to police station to give fingerprints, said they would mail the results to her in about 2 weeks and then she sends them on. 2 weeks and still waiting (he said it'd be about 2 weeks and if nothing by end of July to contact him :( ) I think it was $75 Nothing moves forward till that is sorted. Very frustrating to say the least.

FP are taking a long time. Submitted mine on May 2nd. RCMP mailed them to IRCC on 8th May. IRCC received them just yesterday.

Hi guys,
Would appreciate your clarification on the below:

I received my Canadian citizenship and was advised to go to BLS to surrender my Indian passport. However on the website its mentioned to go to Service Canada for applying a new Canadian passport.
What's the actual process ?

Thanks :)
The sequence is
1- apply for Canadian passport
2- surrender Indian passport after getting Canadian passport
3- apply for OCI if you are interested, it’s highly recommended

I would like to know if there is anyone still expecting a test invitation for AOR - April 7, although my background check was completed on May 31, and I have not received a test invitation.

Just to be clear , do you mean Application submitted April 7 or AOR e-mail received from IRCC on April 7? I understand that with IRCC, applications and their timelines may vary. If you are over 54 , you would not need to write a test. Other than that, I will suggest you consider sending a web form or call IRCC. Going by timelines here, most April AORs have received test invitation. But like I implied earlier, processing seems to be on a case by case basis.
