Hi I Applied visa application last Feb13,2021 with upfront medical. I sent follow up email on March 9, 2021and just update only my medical is passed on the next day.

Have you guys noticed the processing time increased from 9 weeks to 11 weeks? Last month it was 9 weeks.

I also applied Non - SDS with SOWP. Biometrics updated on February 24 2021. Waiting for Medical. How long does it take the IRCC to issue medical request letter, if they do since I do not have upfront medical?

Hi Rag, I too completed Biometrics on 10th March. Now I am waiting for the Medical request letter, you are a bit advanced than me. You will get it soon. Keep post the update. Good luck.

I feel if the eligibility started early then it's a bad sign and means that they have already made a decision on your file, which in a short time means that it is refused. If it takes a long time for the eligibility to start it means there is something positive going on while you receive the medical update. Any thoughts?

Thats not true, i have seen some of students got their approval who applied in feb.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am. On my last application, my eligibility started the next day and then I got a refusal within a month.

Hi Rag, I am from India. Seems plethora of applications in India. Presume that there would be a lot of backlogs as well. Indeed 10 to 15 weeks are normal for India. By the way, where are you from?
