It varies by the local office processing your application, it could be from 1 day to weeks or months.

All you can do is wait, you can try to call or send a web form but you will probably get the default answer about IRCC working with the Afghan cases, or all they will be able to see is what you can see in the dashboard, patience is required through the duration of this process.

Thanks for the response, I guess patience is my only option. I just wanted to make sure there are no other options but web form, right? As you said I have tried calling a few times but no success.

I applied from Niagara Falls (Niagara Region) and no, it was not an urgent application

Hi, after the test completion, do the other sections like prohibitions, physical presence, language are shown completed one by one or do they go completed all at once and you are scheduled for oath?

Hi, no after I wrote my test, only update I had until yesterday was the status for citizenship test changing from in progress to complete. They didn’t ask for passport copies.

Got background check completed after they requested Fingerprints after completing Test. Did the fp on sept 23rd and they received it Oct 20. So less than a month for that.

I think this means a decision has been made in the case (positive or negative) if positive applicant will be invited to take the Oath. In the new dashboard the equivalent to decision made from old ECAS is when everything but Oath changes to completed (Language, Prohibitions, Physical presence).
