R10 completeness check has been done. I was told by the agent. But no news about AOR, like seriously what is going on. I am getting pissed now. I want to apply for my spouse visit visa so I was hoping to attach AOR/SA letter to support my application. But nothing seems to be working now.
I am on the same boat. I am March 19th and R10 check has been completed but no AOR or SA yet. What to do?

Well I called and received some bad news, not sure if this applies to anyone else in March. Our application was CLEARLY delivered to their office March 19th as shown our tracking. IRCC has somehow decided that it was received May 1. So we are almost two months further back in the queue than we thought we were. Our application has not even been touched at all yet for any completeness check. Absolutely devastated. Was also told there was no way that most of our applications were going to be processed within 12 months and would take much longer. Which is really discouraging since we have already sold our house and planned to move. We may just give up now.

It is a sucky situation about the timing they gave you... but in saying that i think people need to be a bit more practical about the whole situation, basically nothing happened from march till august and while they might have mismanaged the situation there's not a lot anyone can do about a pandemic. If we're all going off 12 months timetable, then remember they still have 6 months worth of applications BEFORE march to go through so there's bound to be some screw ups somewhere, especially with the thousands of applications they must have sitting there.

I'm looking at it like this - sure they got the application in march, but no aor until august so in my mind the 12 months guideline starts then

Well I would much rather be looking at March received with AOR in August than my current situation, so if you would like to trade that would be great!

So, 1 month and 6 days after the file was moved to Visa Office.

That's great, congrats!
We also got pre-arrival on Oct 21. Not Sure what to expect next as PA's biometrics is still pending due to closed VACs. So not sure what to expect when biometrics is still pending and pre-arrival has been issued.

Can you please share your timeline, if you don't mind? Also, where is PA from?
my husband is from USA
