I have contacted my MP ever since my update that the test has been updated to complete I didn't hear back from them.

Parliament was dissolved (Writ Dropped) on Sunday, August 15, 2021. As such, I was advised by my MP's office that all their regular inquiries with IRCC will be on hold until after Election Day – September 20, 2021.

Should I wait until after election to contact them again?

I did it by calling them was the fastest way.

On thé citizenship call the lady updated it for me

Maybe you should contact the MP candidate of the opposition party in your constituency that is the most competitive against MP, and send a copy to the MP at the same time.

Background check completed on August 20. Playing the waiting game now for the test invite. *Sigh*. It is a bit frustrating to be honest.

Thanks, just curious, I received certificates for 3 adults in my family but still waiting for minor child's certificate. is this normal to get certificates in separate mails?

That's actually weird. You can confirm it with someone else who applied with minors but AFAIK, you should have received the child's citizenship certificate too.

my oath status says in process since 10th August, everything else is cleared. can I travel to US for holidays or some other countries while waiting for oath to date be confirmed?

Test completed today.
