Got my email for survey : "Our records indicate that you have recently received a decision from us on an application."
I am not sure what decision is.
IRCC webpage has a following description for this survey:
To improve our services, IRCC is collecting feedback from randomly selected clients who received a decision on their application in 2020. COVID-19 had an unprecedented impact on IRCC programs. More than ever, your feedback is appreciated.

Did you receive decision on any other application of yours in 2020? Because it doesn’t specifically say decision on PR application. Just wondering...

Hi All,

I would like to share my details,

AOR - March 11th 2020
CEC Inland applicant.
Medical passed : April 16th 2020
Eligibility passed : August 19th 2020.
Approved : March 12th 2021
COPR received : March 19th 2021.

My application was submitted through Representative. I don't know exact timelines when my security and Criminality was passed. When I called IRCC on March 9th 2021 security and criminality was still in progress and next 2 days my application got approved. My BOWP was approved on March 4th 2021, I think this would have expedited my PR application.

It took me more than a year to get my COPR. I hope everyone will get their COPR soon.

Thanks.
thanks for sharing your timeline. When did your old work permit was expired? And when did you apply for BOWP?
My LMIA based work permit is expiring on May 08th, 2021.

Based on the GCMS notes, my medical expired on March 16, 2021. However, my online portal still shows as You passed the medical May xx, 2020.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to reflect the expired medical status and get extended?

Thank you!

I got the same email on Friday. But as far as what IRCC has decided I have yet to be informed. lol

Interesting! I hope they won`t send following email that it was technical glitch. How did you come to know that your application was approved, via GCMS notes ?
Others have received the email, and IRCC has put out a statement. It's legit.

Honestly, I can't say for certain it has been approved, but for months now calls, as well as webform replies, have indicated as much (albeit vaguely). I just assumed the delay sending COPR is a result of being an outland applicant while travel restrictions are in place. The survey email just seems to be another bit of evidence to support that impression.

Can we pressure IRCC to expedite the processing for March applicants by calling the agents altogether? If enough of us bombard them with complaints, I think it might make a difference.

It will not make a difference. The people responding to calls and webforms are not the agent that are processing the applications. Moreover, there are still people waiting from 2019...
