MARCH 2019 VISITOR VISA TIMELINE

HELLO,
I have applied for the tourist visa via online on 7 March 2019, & gave the biometrics on 11 March 2019.
After that i got first VISITOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LETTER on 22 March saying-
Thank you for the time you have taken to complete your application. We have received your application and it is currently in process.
After that on 1 April, i again received VISITOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LETTER mail saying-
Thank you for making your application to visit Canada! We have received a large number of visitor visa applications from clients wanting to visit Canada at the same time as you.
We want to assure you that your application is in process and is proceeding normally. We continue to process the applications as quickly as possible.
Now after that there is no update on my application, please help me with this as my date for travel is in the 2nd week of MAY.

Also when i check my Account Online, there is no new message there, Review Eligibility hasn't started, Only Background Check is going on...

It seems online application processing is taking longer compared to paper paper based applications.
I applied offline from Mumbai VFS on 21st March and received approval on 8th of.April.

Its 17 April & stil i havent got any update from the embassy neither in ny GCKey A|c nor via mail.
Kindly suggest what to do & why its taking so long, processing time was only 12 days for march applications....
