I was right, we were following after you! Finally we got the PPR and DM. Did you get your passport back already and if so, did they give you some more time to travel (since our medicals are expiring soon too). Thank you for letting me know!
Hi, glad to hear that !!! Yes, we got the passport back. No extension.

- AOR1 : 9th march 2018
- PPR : 19th march 2019.
- Passport sent via VAC : 21th march
- Expiry of the visa : 8th may 2019

The applicant is planning to land in canada on the 4th of may at Toronto international airport

Now, is anyone could give us some lights about what will happen at the landing airport ???
What should we expect ???
Will the passport be stamped with some kind of entry permit for 6 months or so in order to get the PR card ???

!!! Thanks in advance for your replies !!!
PR card will automatically be processed once you land. Usually this will be delivered approximately ~1 to 2 months. But ive seen progress recently that they can send your pr card 2-3 weeks (that fast) so it’s really case to case basis. My husband got his after a month :)

Also nothing to worry in the airport, there must be a special lane for new immigrants. The usual process where they verify details and ask for your canada address (where pr card will be sent out).

Best of luck and enjoy this milestone!

Also for the soft landing, i think you’re given 2 yrs to return until it expires. However before you can go outside canada (during your first landing) make sure you have your pr card otherwise you’ll have to secure a temporary visa when you go back

They received my app on 26 March 2018 . Today is my Full 1 Year of Waiting . Today I see on E-case Status :- AnyONE who has the same looks very strange :( :(

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Your application is taking us longer than usual to process.

About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete.
We had the same. We got the PPR not even two weeks later.

You definitely almost done with your application. Just wait and soon you will hear from them. Please just want to ask when they requested the additional documents Feb 21 2019 and submitted 7 March. What was the deadline date on the requested letter. I mean the date that you must submit the additional documents must reach their office.
Sorry am in same shoes as you and just wanna get some heads up.

They asked for additional documents on Feb 21, and they gave me 30 days to provide them. The documents were police reports, as well as updated travel history and background information.

Can anyone share with me what's the minimum time they provide to land in Canada? From my information, it is usually when the medical expires which in my case will be on May 9th. What if they request for the passport on late April or early May, will I still need to land before May 9th?
