March 2017 in land applicants

Hello to everyone, I’m opening this thread because I’ seen the other have 15000 responses and for the people like me still waiting isn’t helpful to look among so many pages the old answers.

Please if you’re a 2017 applicant write your timeline and updates, here’s mine:

1. Recived your application for permanent residence on march 15 2017
2. We started processing your application on march 07 2018
3. Medical results have been recieved.

That’s all I have, we’re applicating inland from Montréal and I starting to be anxious for the long wait.

We called our lawyer and he said he’s going to send a message to CIC to ask for updates.

I mean the website says 12 month and we’re been waiting 20 month is we count November.

Anybody are going through something similar?

At this point my husband I are starting to feel desperate. But at least we’re not the only ones. Did you tried to reach your local dipute?

Yes, we talk to the MP office, all they said was that the timeline for Edmonton's office is one year. Our file was transferred to this office on April. I am also waiting for my notes to see what's going on. What about you?

We’re trying to reach our MP as well. We sent the web form this week. It’s has been 20 months wait, at this point not even our lawyer seems to know what’s up. He said our case is normal, nothing unsual. I don’t really understand why it’s almost 2 years. We’re in Montréal.
