But my question is- Is In Process really reflecting that my file is in process? I haven't received any communication from VO so far.
Also, other candidates in January/Feb 2015 doesnt seem to have their files procesed. How come they can jump directly to March (not that I don't like it, but the situation doesn't aling )

Tomorrow is a hopeful day. Maybe the energy from the eclipse will help, hah. Seems to be a glitch under my sponsor portion in ECAS though, the line saying they sent correspondence on X date for SA is doubled.

After in process, wait for the passport request from your visa office. If everything is fine with your application, no additional documents needed then expect a Decision Made and eventually the voh..

CEM ask my husbands passport July 13,2015...while on my ecas is application recieved.
My husband passed his passport July 31...and my ecas change to "IP" on September 5....until now no "DM" yet...
sometimes they are out of sequence....
Lots of mixed up steps.

I emailed them 2x...and still process is all they say

Just wait. Our passport request was dated may 22 and we submitted our passport to embassy in June. IP in Aug and until now no DM yet so maybe you can take it from there.

ECAS now has the additional line stating they started processing my application on May 28. That partially confirms what I've always suspected - that when our file was sent to Ottawa "prematurely" before we saw SA in ECAS that someone likely screwed up and just didn't update ECAS or mark in done. We didn't get SA until July, so if it wasn't done, then why would we have started processing (which is probably just when the file got transferred) in Ottawa in May?

My wife received the interview invitation finally. Cheesy Grin
Nov 4th.

They didn't ask for my presence. But I will travel and be with her in the interview. They had that as an option in the invitation.

What date is your interview schedule for or what month ??? Reason I ask is because I need to know how much notice they give you from the day your spouse's application gets to their visa office -

i am thinking ahead Just in case my hubby is called for a interview, i too would need to be with him that day and will need to make the necessary arrangement with work and vacation time .
