Nope, I didn't see any update/change in my status. I think this development must be for everyone.

Mine is family application from Mississauga - tracker updated

The day I didn't check my ecas, it got updated. My Ecas change to "In Process" last June 18. ;D

Is there any point in calling them ? my application office is Ottawa.

4. Medical results have been received.

Yeah, it is possible that CIC started processing your citizenship application. My PR status appeared when they transferred my citizenship file to the local office. Here are the details.

Permanent Residence Application(s)

We received your application for permanent residence on October XX, XXX2.
We started processing your application on February XX, XXX3.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
You entered Canada at the Carway office on April XX, XXX3 and became a Permanent Resident.

Citizenship Application(s)


We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 16, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 8, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 16, 2015.
Your file was transferred to the office responsible for your area on June 17, 2015. The office responsible for your area will contact you.

They are changing the system so all the information is available to you for all applications in regards to CIC. When my file was transferred to local office on June 16th I got my PR information pop up then with details of my completed PR application, they also added my parental sponsorship application currently in progress marked as received.

I saw the same thing when I checked my ECAS, the PR application is now showing (completed). Guess they updating/revising their system.
