For the record, I got my GCMS notes not long ago.
They literally have nothing in them except for markers that show when they started looking at each segment.
There were no helpful notes at all to pass along sorry guys.
how long did it take for you to get it ?

18/7/2014, PR Card arrived 10/9
30 days.
When you apply for them it says they will arrive in 30 days - that's a legislated time frame they have to meet. They do meet it.
GCMS notes take 30 days.

Of course, I think that might change in the future with the amount of people sending in a request every week and other such rubbish.
Way to tie up CIC resources guys!

Hi all......Koifish thank you for adding us to the spreadsheet ! :)......2 items I forgot to mention....ECAS updated July 7, 2014 Medical received and 1st request for documents advised that the interview was waived July 8, 2014.

It's weird that ECAS has not been updated to In Process even though they have made a second request for documents and we know the application is in process.

Fingers and toes crossed......its been a crazy long wait. ;D

Thanks again.

Koifish 76, I saw in the December Outland thread that someone who submitted his application to Singapore VO in December saw his ecas update to "in process". So your wait should be significantly less than the 2 years that Singapore VO used to take.

;). All I can do is pray our application has no more hiccups. And if we avoid the interview, we are optimistic about getting her visa next May.

yeah the key thing is to avoid the interview. Singapore has a ridiculous 24 month waiting period for an interview.

Just bit of an update. My wife sent her passport to the Manila VO after getting the PPR email. The unusuall part is that my wife is currently in Canada on visitor visa, so I'm worried about something happening to the passport. And I'm not sure if the VO will pay the high cost of registred mail to send the passport back to us in Canada. Just when we thought it was time to celebrate, more uncertenties and new worries hit.

This might be too little too late, but don't they ask you to send a prepaid courier envelope for them to return the passport?
Or is that just certain VOs?

You know, I remember reading something like that before in these forums but the email my wife and I received simply asks for Appendix A and her passport. There is no mention of prepaid courier envelope. However, in the Appendix A, it says provide an address where your passport can be returned by courier collect. I think "courier collect" means we will pay after they deliver the passport back to us, but we are not in the Philippines.

We just got our GCMS notes today, medicals passed :D! But nothing else has been started yet. The notes seem okay and shows a summary of the info we have sent and didn't point out any concerns as of yet so that seems good and at least we know they have taken a look at the file and at our photos. We are a bit unsure about this one part though, does anyone understand what this means? We have taken out all the dates and personal info, but the due date has passed if that makes any difference.

congrats! i think you are right, that the passport won't be sent to canada. i think what people do is have it sent to family members, who then send it to you in canada!

Hi! I'm sponsoring my wife and we made an outland application in March. We got the following email yesterday,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the following information and/or documentation:

Fully Completed Appendix A (attached) for you and each of your family members, whether accompanying you to Canada or not. Passport details are not required for any family member who is not accompanying you to Canada.

Certificate of Entry and Exit (issued by the Korea Immigration Service)
I'm wondering about the Appendix A. For whom should I fill it out? Who constitutes a 'family member'.

Any advice would be appreciated!
