Got an email from Sydney requesting confirmation that passport is the same and completion of appendix b, which we completed right away.

Congrats Gugi!!! We're on pretty much the same exact timeline so your post gives me much hope!!!
Has your ECAS changed to "in progress" yet?

I too would be curious to know about the relationship history and any possible red flags. I'm always curious to see if CIC actually processes applications with no red flags faster, or if they are just random.

the people getting ppr and copr are from super fast visa offices... syndey and paris are outside the norm when it comes to processing. the file loads there seem to be tiny in comparison to the other visa offices. i don't think it has to do with red flags.

Believe me, we are twice as shock as anyone lol, but VERY grateful! :)

All other members have hope as you can see it's possible.

Sooooo fast!! How i really wish manila VO would do the same..very lucky Ms.Ruby!! Ur the luckiest..

Okie dokie. Many people posting this weekend, many new people actually. Every new person who has posted has been added to the spreadsheet with whatever information they have given + what is on their timeline underneath their name there on the left. I just thought that even though we might not have the full timelines it's still nice and can give some other people from the same VO more to compare to.

Everyone can look at the spreadsheet, the link is underneath my post here, and let me know any additional information that's not filled in on the spreadsheet.

hey guys, may i know how do they send the PPR?by email to the sponsor or the sponsored person?or a actual letter by post?thanks!

I think they will send to the principal applicant unless you gave a use of representative form. If you didn't then it should go to the applicant. So if you gave an e-mail address it should go to e-mail, if not they will send it by regular mail. (I think sometimes this depends on your VO as well, for me they said in the Mexico thread that they receive PPR by e-mail if you provided an e-mail)

Thanks for the answer I am now assured. will keep fingers crossed and wait

hey guys..does length of relationship matter? if so how?

Ecas still shows application received and medical received.

congrats!! what is appendix B?

It's basically a form you fill out with your name, gender, passport number, passport expiry, height, eye colour, preferred method of document return, and address for document return. I think document refers to passport, but not sure cuz it didn't apply to me, but I still filled it out.

I would imagine that the shorter the courtship, the more scrutinized your relationship will be. Unless you've been married for more than just a couple years.

Think, they're looking for fraud marriages, if you were together for 2 months before the wedding and 6 months later you applied for pr, it doesn't look quite as good as a couple who was together for 2 years before marriage, or a couple who have been married for 5 years. The longer you are together the more evidence that you'll have and the less likely that it is a fraud marriage.

Thanks singsingsing. I think you will get your AOR this week too. The quarterly update on the vo processing times should be released soon, I hope they keep it at 7 months.

i wonder... getting the AOR2 means they kicked off to work on the application? and how to count the the processing time? 7 mths starting from the AOR1? or AOR2? if it's for AOR2, that's mean it will be done on Jan 2015?

if that's how it count, then it's very risky for my application, becoz our med was done on March 2014, it will be expired if their processing time is more than 9 mths...... oh my goodness... this is scary.. :-X

I disagree with this senseless fraud marriage criteria agarand8!
What sort of proof is CIC expecting?
