Hello All,

Did your visa office ask for a copy of the CSQ?

For some reason we sent our application without tracking :P but we received AOR 23rd May stating it arrived April 1st.
If you could update spreadsheet that would be grand.
I'm actually now back in Canada with my partner whilst this goes through. On my next return trip in December i am hoping to be landing with PR (processing in Sydney seems nice and fast at the moment)

The most communication anyone has had with their VO in this thread is their AOR2. Try asking in....Jan or Dec thread maybe?

Yay! Finally! So glad to hear. and nice for you that you guys are together. You will probably get SA today or tomorrow.

Doubting why its taking so long to get the SA I already got the AOR and usually you get the SA a few days after the AOR but its getting to 10 days now and no news can someone tell me what is going on?

Sometimes SA doesn't come right after AOR like that if they have additional info they need to verify, etc. If you check on the spreadsheet I believe there are a few other people who had a longer gap between their AOR and SA as well.

i just saw someone that had nearly 2 weeks between AOR and SA! crazy how the slightest thing can make such a big difference in processing. ah, the mystery of cic!

You can always call CIC if you are in Canada. I found out I got SA about 5-6 days after AOR by calling. The physical letter only got to me over 1 month later, haha. Best bet is to call to find out!

SA received today, next step start processing in Sydney, which i hope is still running fast.

;D ;D ;D ;D

out of curiosity... for those who have receieved SA - what was the date listed as the date your application was received by CIC? Was it in march or april? Close to your delivery date or not?

Mine is April 14th, which is not close to my delivery date. I did have a missing doc which obviously delayed the processing, though i can't figure out how they came up with this date. :)

Rhcohen - did you send in the missing documents on the 14th of April? They probably put that as the 'received' date, when they consider your application to be complete.

yeah that's the thing, i think that date coorelates with when i emailed the copy, but it's a form that needs an original hand signature, and the original wasn't delivered until a week later. so i guess they took the emailed copy date as my application date? just trying to figure out what to be expecting down the road and what to track for an expected end. it seems october applicants are just now getting PPR and COPR, so i'll be counting down the months.

i'm just hoping my app doesn't get any more delays, because it's already a month behind what it was suppose to be. can't really complain if they did use the date i emailed it, at least they gave me the earliest possible date after the document request!

eh well... what's done is done and what will need to be done will get done!

Got my SA finally today just when I was about to give CIC a call to find out what was going on. The next stage will take months but having the SA is such a relive,

Congradulations! Good luck with rest of the process..

Yes, congratulations.

Wow, looking at the sheet, it's pretty much just Calgary_Man, twelfty12 and myself left waiting.

It is the 71st day with no AOR. It's becoming quite comical....in a sad depressing way of course. I have wrote Emails to CIC with no response yet. I may try to do a threeway skype call with the in Canada number, which worked for me before.

Have you tried contacting your MP?
