You should email to immigration to follow up. It is supposed to be maximum 90 days from AOR email

I've sent them email, they just say "your file is in a queue to be reviewed by an officer".
What can I do with that? I have to wait.

Hello Everyone,

great to see who many of you have already received their PR status.

Unfortunately we are in a more difficult position and I have to find a solution ASAP.

We have received our medical request on Sept. 24th. We have done our medicals except for the chest x-ray for my wife.
She is in week 22 pregnant and we were not able to do the x-ray.
Her due date is on April 10th. Unfortunately our work visas will expire on May 19th. By that time we have completed our 5 years of our work visa.
I came to Canada in 2008 with my wife on a intra-company transfer from Germany.

After our baby's birth in April 2013 my wife will go immediately to complete her medicals. However we don't think that within the few weeks between the x-ray and the expiry date of our work visas we will have received the PR status.

If we do not find a solution we would have to leave Canada by May 19th for few month until the process has been completed. That would be the worst case.

We have to find a way to extend our stay in Canada. By the time we have to leave, we will have 2 canadian kids (one in pre-school), I have my job here, that I don't want to leave either. Is this maybe a help that they can not send two canadian citizen out of the country?

Is there any way to extent our work visas one more time or does it make sense to send a letter to CIC asking to stay until the process is completed?

Maybe I can apply for a new work permit (not as an intra-company transfer) rather with a LMO??
It looks like that the process time for a general work visa may fit into the time until may 2013.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to post the link for you by the Forum does not allow me to post the links.

According to my understanding you can stay here on work permit till April 1 2015.
The 2nd web Page say that:

"This regulation is not retroactive – The clock starts ticking on April 1, 2011, for all TFWs, regardless of how long they have already been in Canada.
The earliest date that a foreign worker could reach the four-year cumulative duration limit is April 1, 2015."

So I think any body who has landed before 1 April 2011 can stay till 1 April 2015.

May be you would like to check with CIC before taking any decision. Hope these link will help you. Please let me know if you find this information correct and if my understanding is correct..

I am also in the same boat. Received AOR on July 3rd and no medicals until now. I am not able to locate anybody to talk to and I received the same email with the same exact wording...

weirdest thing, my return PPR xpresspost tracking number went live and says it's already in Vancouver. Fastest mail i've ever seen - wasn't there yesterday.

I checked my e-cas and it still says "in process" but my home address has partially disappeared - just shows Vancouver, BC. my postal addy is still there though.
I'm super suprised it was so quick to turn around as I sent it xpresspost via windsor both ways and it didn't reach the windsor po box until the 4th. That's exactly a week to process.

After all this waiting time, i'm paranoid that this particular process was too quick because i've done something wrong...
did i forget to include something?? now i'll worry until i get the darn thing in my two hands LOL :

Actually, i received the same email at the end of Sept, but one month later, i got Medical request.

BTW, i get the returned passport this morning.

Congratulations on all the people who got their PR and for those who dont we just have to wait. As of now Im still waiting on the next steps. Got a PPR last nov. 15. But in reference on adding my child as my non-accompanying dependent. I cannot make a move until CPP-O told me so. My passport is still stuck in my room

just 5 minutes ago my wife told me the opposite, we want to be done with this even if they reject us so we can go somewhere else and settle.

Got CoPR today -- will be landing once I return from holidays at the end of December. Pongpong was right -- received the CoPR 2 days after CIC changed my file to "decision made."
