I'm in the same boat as you and yes I agree, this whole process is weird.

Application received on April 26
ECAS changed to "In process on Oct 05"

No words on Medicals and its been almost 2 months.
I'm just being paranoid that there was no need to request medicals since a decision might already have been made by CIC - refusal

Don't think about it in the negative way. I am a March application who didn't receive medicals until now, yet I still have hope to receive the medicals soon....

I am also in the same boat...AOR in mid July...still awaiting a medical...
god only knows when will CIC smile on us :'(

i asked the them, and they told me the medical result sent on Nov2, i did on Oct 24

I just wanna to update that i had done my Landing successfully at Queenstone Border....whole tension & suspense process is finally over :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* ;D

what suspense? when i applied in 2006 I didn't have any suspense I was always sure I will be approved right until th emonths I cancelled this year. I was always sure if they looked at thre application they woudl approve me 100%.

Hi all,

After long waiting finally..........., i get PPR request today on Nov 28.
I completed medical check on Oct 17 and the doctor office sent the result on Oct 31.
Does anyone know if there will be interview or something after I sent the requested items to Detroit?
Please mind to share any information

I received my confirmation of permanent residency yesterday, 28th November. Will be landing on Saturday! wohoo! ;D

That's 8 months and 16 days since I sent the application, much faster than I expected.

5 minutes ago i received my PPR
Superduper excited. If i can submit it and can land by Jan 15th, I won't have to quit my job. i can't really afford to fly to Detroit for same day COPR service but it's seriously worth considering. the timing will be tight

I'm still hoping you guys who are waiting for Medicals will get it any day now.

I landed today at 10:43am. I went the to peace bridge, didn't get any refusal for US, didn't enter US, u-turned back to canada and landed. It took me 10 mins end to end for all the process. The officer said congrats maybe 3 or 4 times during the paperwork. Extremely polite and quick.

if each person updated his data updating it would be easy, but it seems as soon as someone gets medical we only hear form them when they ger PPR and then they are too excited to fill in their line.
