Hi all March applicants,

From those who didn't receive medicals, did anybody send an email to CPP asking them about the status of the application?

I am waiting till November 3rd to send out an email.

Yes, I have included my spouse and kids with initail application and they are with me in Canada.
we all went to Detriot for visa and completed landing formalaties on the way back home.

I understand your NOC to be 2171 (Information Systems Analysts and Consultants) so I have this question for you. The letter from my employer (IT major) reads my occupation as 'Senior Consultant' but my actual role is 'Business Analyst' working for a Banking client.

What is the Occupation I should be mentioning in my CEC application ? SENIOR CONSULTANT or BUSINESS ANALYST ?

Hi Andy2109,

it is always advisable to maintain occupation what we have on work permit to aviod confusion for visa officer in your case if you are also with NOC 2171 check posible occupations under this NOC and try to have the consistency in all your application and also supporting documents

I guess Senior Consultant shoudl be good in your case and also make sure you match roles and responsibilities match to NOC ( atleast some of the roles and resposibilities)

this way we can aviod confusions for visa offier and will have positive impact if they do not get confused
