Hey guys, i got a letter today from ottawa and the subject of the letter saying, APPLICATION E0000XXXXX - READY FOR VISA and it say's

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER. YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE FINALIZED AT THE CANADIAN CONSULATE GENERAL IN DETROIT (USA). IF YOU STILL HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AFTER REVIEWING ALL THE STEPS IN THIS LETTER, YOU MAY CONTACT THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF CANADA IN DETROIT BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS WEBSITE.

There asking me to pay RPRF, send my passport, 2 passport size photo, piece of paper with height and eye color and send everything to the canadian consulte in detriot, usa.

Does it mean my application is approved? do i have to worry about my application? I've been thinking my application everyday since i submitted my document to CIO, nova scotia until now. Is there any chance i will be rejected?

Considering the subject says 'Ready for Visa', I would think you're good. Especially as they have asked you to send the passport and RPRF. Congratulations, looks like just a matter of few weeks and you'd be a PR!

i've sent in my medicals 14 days ago. and still no update on ecas. on trackitt, an april applicants who sent in his medicals after me already has his ecas updated to 'medicals received'. the inconsistency is tiring!

Onap your next... I did my medical last sept. 13 and my doctor sent the results sept. 21. The whole processing time of my application is 7months and 4 days. Yeheeey!!!! God is good!

Yehhey among the march applicants, im the first person to get Passport request. I will be sending my passport to detriot by mail. some people say it takes 6 weeks to get ur passport back. Is it true?

Thank u so much guys! U know im so happy right now, at least the wait is almost over. i will be sending all the documents that they need including my passport to detroit on monday. In the letter it says 2 passport-sized photographs. Is it actually the canadian passport size?, which is big size or there is measurement for this one? Or is it the same size the one we submitted along with our applications?

For me, I still didn't receive my medical requests yet As previously said, the inconsistency is really frustrating. I wish I can only know what is the status of my application.

Is there anyone else in March who still didn't receive their medical requests? Do we need to do anything or just keep waiting?

In ecas my status says...

We received your application for permanent residence on March 15, 2012.

We started processing your application on September 5, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

So, i think once they received ur medical results and ur good, they will send u a passport request right away. Cause i did my medical Sept. 13 and my doctor sent the results Sep. 21, which was friday and probably CPP-O received it after 5-7 working days. Let's say they received my results end of SEptember. There response is so fast, after 19 days. I got passport request. So, to all other march applicants, just wait and be patient and time will come u will get it. Good luck to all of you and thank you so much for this forum. It helps me a lot.
